THE STORY

Sisterhoodship / LeAnne Rucker Has Cancer is a poignant documentary currently in production that chronicles the extraordinary journey of two sisters as they navigate the challenging landscape of a terminal cancer diagnosis. The narrative unfolds from the perspectives of LeAnne, who has both developmental disabilities and is on the spectrum, and her sister Christine, a photojournalist and LeAnne's caretaker.

 

LeAnne has a vibrant personality that lights up the screen. Her faith and humor are infectious, and audiences will root for her even as they comprehend the finality of her earthly journey.
